About the role
Become a key part of the culinary team at The Forge Gastropub Bali, a vibrant and bustling establishment located in Badung, Bali. In this full-time Junior Cook role, you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Cook in preparing and cooking a variety of delicious dishes, contributing to the exceptional dining experience we provide our customers.
What you’ll be doing

Assist the Senior Cook in all aspects of food preparation, including chopping, slicing, dicing and mixing ingredients
Cook and plate a range of menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation
Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service
Be an enthusiastic and reliable member of the culinary team

What we’re looking for

At least 1-2 years of experience working as a Junior Cook or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong practical cooking skills and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Good time management and the ability to work calmly under pressure
A passion for food and a keen interest in the hospitality industry
A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
