Don't miss your chance to make an impact!We are currently looking for an experienced Deputy Team Leader Composite Design. In collaboration with their entire group, the Deputy Team Leader is responsible for driving the design of assigned car parts forward, pursuing current directions and investigating new concepts. Based on Team Leader's directions, they coordinate the whole group in achieving expected performance targets at the agreed deadliness and contributing to the overall success of the composite design team.
Responsibilities

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
TEAM COORDINATION
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to the group in order to achieve the assigned performance target.
Support the Composite Design Team Leader in planning, executing, and monitoring composite design projects.
Work closely with the Composite Design Team Leader to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including aerodynamics, chassis, and external partners.
INNOVATION
Contribute to the implementation and enforcement of quality control processes to ensure the highest standards in composite design and manufacturing.
Collaborate with the Composite Design Team Leader to implement innovative solutions and best practices.
COMPOSITE DESIGN
Responsible for supervising (if required) the final sign off on the design release within their group.
Undertake studies, schemes and car parts design, based on aerodynamic info and car layout, according to Team Leader and Management guidelines.
Support in the design and detail specification of most complex composite car components.

Experience
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience in composite design, particularly in the context of Formula 1 or high performance automotive industries.
Solid project management skills.
In-depth knowledge of composite materials, manufacturing processes, and structural analysis.
Proficiency in relevant software tools such as CATIA, Siemens NX, or similar.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills required; Italian language fluency is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to motivate and guide a technical team.
Ability to work under pressure and as a team player.
Travel 0-10%
