Job Description:
Health and Safety Management

Support the Health and Safety Manager with the medical surveillance and annual inspection with the company doctor within the plant.
Support the Health and Safety Manager with the risk assessment: meeting the risk assessment deadline.
Support the Health and Safety Manager in updating the safety KPIs.
Update the relevant documentation and database under the control of the Health and Safety Manager.
Ensure that fire and emergency arrangements are in place and regularly monitored and carry out or co-ordinate weekly fire checks.
Work with other departments to improve the safety culture.

Facility Management

Support the Facility Management in the work activities of contractors and subcontractors (DUVRI).
Assist in the management of planned and reactive soft and hard facilities management services, including but not limited to HVAC, Fire Safety, Security, Water Treatment, Waste Management, Cleaning, disinfection, and Catering.
Enforce periodic maintenance deadlines in collaboration with the maintenance department.
Ensure that all relevant paperwork is received prior to any work being undertaken, including the checking and collation of Contractor / Supplier RAMS / relevant insurance and the completion of Permit to Work (PTW).

Team Collaboration and Relationships

Develop good working relationships with fellow Facilities Coordinator and the wider Facilities Management team.

Qualifications:
A university degree in the field of health and safety is a preferred qualification.
1 to 3 years' experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities.
Hold a valid ASPP certificate.
B1/B2 level English required.
Good understanding of legislation and security policies.
Ability to scope all tasks thoroughly.
Provide information and reports in a timely manner (meeting deadlines set out in the work plan and maintaining good communication).
Ability to work collaboratively with the team, external suppliers and colleagues.
Flexibility and ability to prioritise.
