Role Overview As a Team Leader, Field Business Development (Veneto), you will acquire and onboard small independent businesses to Satispay's platform, ensuring the growth of our SuperNetwork. You will coordinate and lead a team of Field Business Developers to achieve our ambitious growth plans. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll be part of a talented team driving Satispay's expansion.
Your mission:

New business development. Identify, negotiate, and acquire strategic merchants by promoting our payment solutions in the assigned area to meet individual and team targets.
Team management. Lead and support Field Business Developers, serving as their point of reference for onboarding, training, and mentoring.
Training and development. Train team members to ensure autonomy in technical skills, activity organization, priority management, and proper use of company tools.
Performance management. Monitor and maximize team performance through shadowing, 1:1s, and team meetings to ensure everyone meets their targets.
Strategic planning and analysis. Track and monitor business development activities using our CRM system, analyze performance trends, and produce reports for management.
Collaboration with management. Support the Regional Manager in defining strategic actions to ensure territory development.

Your ideal profile:

People management. You have 2+ years of proven experience as a Business Development Team Leader, showing a propensity for people management, structured communication, and empathy.
Field experience and structured communication. You are interested in working on the field, visiting merchants regularly, and you can communicate in a structured and convincing manner, adapting your style to build trust with various stakeholders.
Negotiation and organization skills. You have strong negotiation skills to manage quick negotiations with small merchants, are enthusiastic about acquiring new merchants and hitting challenging targets, and possess strong time management and task prioritization abilities.
Analytical skills. You can turn data into insights and initiatives concretely, enhancing your ability to make informed decisions.
Language proficiency and passion for FinTech. You are fluent in Italian and English and have a passion for FinTech, with previous experience in FinTech or Startup environments being a plus.
