Job Purpose & Impact
We are looking for a passionate Key Account Manager for swine species who will work with commercial and technical teams to develop, improve and maintain business with feed, additives and premix for Cargill feed customers operating in the Italian market. You will participate in face‑to‑face and virtual meetings with existing and prospective clients to understand customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions, and provide effective communication and customer presentations to demonstrate how the company's products can increase overall performance and value for the customer.
Key Accountabilities
Develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders in the customer organization and prospective customers to build out the customer portfolio.
Monitor customer activity and requirements closely to ensure continuous value creation and optimisation.
Execute strategies focused on expanding your customer base and portfolio within defined geographic locations.
Act as the interface between the customer and the business, facilitating relationships and collaborating with internal departments to ensure operational activities are aligned to support and create value for the customer.
Manage and execute bids, tenders and contract negotiations.
Identify new sales opportunities and commercial partnerships.
Network with companies in the industry and attend industry events and conferences to better understand markets and customers.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Proven related work experience in commercial roles.
Microsoft Office skills.
Confirmed ability to prepare and present customer proposals and presentations in a clear and effective manner.
Strong planning, execution, focus on results, and problem‑solving skills.
Fluency in both English and Italian, spoken and written (Italian language proficiency is mandatory).
B driving licence required.
Availability for travelling to the designated area.
Experience in zootechnical or animal welfare domain will be a plus.
