Our Climate Technology Solutions team focuses on bringing innovative clean technology to the energy and industrial space to accelerate our energy transition journey.Be involved in exciting and original projectsYou will join our innovative CTS Systems and Technology Engineering team focused, among others, to develop modularized gas processing, de-flaring plant technologies and fugitive emission management innovative solutions. You will provide technical leadership for the assigned New Product Development programs in cooperation with Product Leadership and Program Management.As a Senior Systems Engineer – Emission Abatement, you will be responsible for:Defining the goal, scope and outcome of assigned programs in cooperation with Product Leadership and Process Engineering.Understanding, documenting, and reviewing technical scope, system requirements and architecture.Ensuring all requirements are captured and flowed down to the respective executional teams in the Work Breakdown Structure.Working with allocated project team to deliver the required systems engineering scope, as a technical lead and interface with both internal and external stakeholders.Creating initial feasibility analysis, conceptual designs, concepts of operations, conducting trade-off analysis for scaling up to demo/commercial scale systems.Taking ownership of Systems Engineering design, FMEA, HAZOP, Technical Qualification and other relevant Engineering processes/analysis.Planning and Executing system level Verification and validation planning /activities, providing assurance that the overall system design meets the system requirements.Ensuring and inspiring compliance to IP protection and HSE culture. Play an active role in the System Engineering Office.Collaborating with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to source components and ensure compliance with engineering specifications.Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including system design, engineering drawings, and operational procedures.Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to gas processing technology, environmental compliance, and energy recovery systems to enhance operational efficiency, sustainability and emissions management.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a Master’s or PhD degree in chemical, process, energy engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college.Have proven experience in leading engineering projects or programs, with focus on innovative product development that involves multi-disciplinary aspects and interaction tasks. Experience on gas processing systems or hydrocarbon processing technology is a plus, as well as proven knowledge of OGMP 2.0 standard.Have demonstrated experience in developing systems requirements, architecture design, system level verification and validation, preferably within gas processing industry/market. INCOSE certification would be positively valued.Have demonstrated experience in designing new tech systems that meets all customer/market requirements including product cost, performance, manufacturing methods, standardization, and other operational aspects as well.Be open to innovative ideas, ability to drive change and passionate to new technologies.Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.Have very good collaboration skills and ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
