Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Asset Integrity Engineering Manager Posting Date:  28 May 2024 City:  Genova Location:  Genova, IT, 16129 Contract Type:  Permanent Division:  Energy Engineering Solutions Level of experience:  Intermediate RINA is currently recruiting for a Asset Integrity Engineering Manager to join its office in Genova, Italy within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.Mission This role focuses on managing the Asset Integrity Team.  The competencies include good knowledge of all potential damage mechanisms,Risk assessment, general/detailed inspection plan development, International Standards and Procedures as API, NACE, DNV, etc, lifecycle evaluation, remaining life assessment, inspection procedures, corrosion management program. Job ResponsibilitiesCollect all equipment / piping data required for assessmentDefine data required from other team members, defining assumptionsData populationAssess effectiveness of past inspections with the help of field inspection engineerEvaluate Probability and Consequence of FailureAssess risk for each Damage Mechanism and finalize risk assessmentGenerate Recommendations to mitigated Damage MechanismsDisplay assessment results in approved format and preparing a report Recommend inspections.Getting the report reviewed and approved by involved authoritiesRecommend proper inspection techniquesEvaluate potential degradation mechanisms to be considered for the involved assets with the support of Corrosion EngineerManage Asset Integrity Team in terms of activities and resources (about 4 persons)Experience⦁ The seniority required is about 4-5 years⦁ Ability to read technical documentation, such as P&IDs/PFDs/MSDs⦁ Familiar with Data Sheets and Heat & Material Balances⦁ Ability to understand an Inspection Report⦁ Knowledge of Corrosion Phenomena and Damage Mechanisms⦁ Knowledge of corrosion and degradation mechanisms affecting upstream and refining industry (API 571 certification will be considered as plus)⦁ Knowledge of API-580/581 principles (API 580 certifications will be considered as plus)⦁ Basic knowledge of integrity management methodologies (including RBI, PIM, FFS, etc.) and experience in their applicatio.⦁ Ability to read technical documentation, such as plot plan, PIDs, PFDs, Line list, GA drawings, mechanical data sheets, etc.⦁ Good knowledge of written and spoken English⦁ Availability to travel to offices and operation Site  #LI-MP3 BUILD NETWORK - Forge trust relationships, across departments, and outside the organizationMAKE EFFECTIVE DECISIONS - Structure activities according to priorities, actions, resources and constraintADDRESS THE WAY - Have a big picture of different situations and reinterpret it in a perspective wayPROVIDE VALUE WITH PEOPLE - Value everyone's contribution through honest feedbackTHINK FORWARD - Capitalise on experiences and translate them into action plans for the futureCLIENT INTIMACY - Embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfactionMANAGE EMOTIONS - Recognise one's and other's emotions and express and regulate one's reactionsEARN TRUST - Take everyone's opinion into account and remain open to diversityPROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT - Promote commitment by keeping promises as a Role ModelPIONEER CHANGE - Actively embrace change and benefit from the new circumstancesEducation Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering With over 5,600 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries worldwide, RINA is a multinational player which provides certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision and vendor inspection, training and engineering consultancy services across a wide range of sectors.
