Traffic Management System is a key technology in the railway signaling business, providing a set of advanced features for railway traffic automation and regulation. Most of the european railway operators are investing to create national/regional railway control centers. The variety and complexity covers almost any request coming from the world of traffic control centers. Specify/design and develop software and support the Product Engineering in finding the best implementation strategies.Support the installation and configuration of TMS in collaboration with Configuration Manager and Product Architect. Design and develop components/parts of ICONIS Mainline Product, contribute for specifing system/product specification & architecture, in collaboration with the Product and Software Architects Perform Software and Software Integration activities Contribute to define the software architecture Support in defining the main technical choices for SW development Educated to University Degree level in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering. Traffic Management Systems provide to railway operators advanced automation and decision support functions to plan, regulate, automate and optimize the train traffic circulation on complex network. These systems are based on special software application, normally running on IT infrastructure/datacenter specially designed for business continuity and mission critical application. 1-2 years’ experience in complex software developments based on Windows Systems Knowledge of software programming language (C++, C#, WCF, WPF, MS-SQL) Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Hyper-V, knowledge of IT architectures (client/server, workstation/Blade, IP networking, routing and SQL databases.) Knowledge of XSD/XML/XSLT, Railway and Scada Application; Fluent in English Available to short / medium (up to few weeks) business trips abroad Knowledge of design patterns, IBM Synergy, CENELEC standards, IT architectures and Railway systems; Basic knowledge of French and/or Deutch Demonstrate Honesty and Integrity Strong availability to integrate and curiosity to “look into” somebody else work Attention for details, problem solving attitude, passion for quality Act as a Team player Search to Learn Continuously Very good relational and communication skills Experience in working with an international and multicultural environment is a plus [1] Traffic Management System: a subsystem providing a set of advanced features for railway traffic automation and regulation. It is the main Traffic Control Centre subsystem and can be scope of standalone project or platform level contract.
